Introduction

Our Online Banking service gives you immediate access to your personal accounts from the convenience of your home or office computer 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Now you can do your banking over the Internet, simply and securely!

The Basics

With Online Banking you will find the functionality of the system easy to learn and easy to use.

The transaction buttons always appear at the top of the screen to help guide you. Almost every screen features a HELP button that offers tips for using the system, along with an E-Mail button that lets you send questions or pertinent information to us.

The following pages provide an overview of the basic features that you will use to manage your accounts.

Balance
When you log onto Online Banking, the “Welcome” screen automatically displays all of your accounts and balances. From here you may access the Account Balance screen, which includes limited transaction history. Balances are “memo posted” to reflect any transactions that have been submitted but not yet processed.

Nicknames
You may assign personal nicknames to help you better identify specific accounts. For example, “Payroll Account.”

View History
The View History screen allows you to access more transactional history than the Account Balance screen. You may view all available history or enter a specific date range.

Export History
Export History lets you export a file to your personal financial software (i.e. Money, Quicken) or a spreadsheet. The screen provides step-by-step instructions to help guide you through the export process.

Search
Search for a specific transaction using the check number, date, dollar amount or a range of any of those parameters.

Reconcile
You may import a comma-delimited file to reconcile to your personal financial software. The screen provides step-by-step instructions to help guide you through the import process.

Transfer
Transferring funds between accounts is as easy as clicking on the account that you want to debit (TRANSFER FROM,) selecting the account to credit (TRANSFER TO,) entering the dollar amount and clicking Submit. The balances appear on the Transfer screen to help verify availability of funds.

View Postings
The View Postings screen will automatically appear for processing each time you submit a transfer, confirming that your request has been sent. The screen lists Today’s Transfers (transactions submitted today,) Past Transfers (transfers processed by the bank) and Future Scheduled Transfers.

Other Services

Bill Pay
Allows you to submit bill payments online. When you enroll, you will receive detailed instructions for using online bill pay.

Change of Address
Submit a new mailing address, telephone number or e-mail address online. No need to call or come into the bank.

Reorder Checks
Reorder checks from the convenience of your home or office.

Stop Payment
When you submit an online Stop Payment, we are immediately notified of your request so that we may take action. The online stop pay is binding for only 14 days. You may extend this to a six month period by sending us a signed copy of the request.

Savings Bonds
Fill in this online template to order Savings Bonds in various dollar denominations and quantities.

Q Cards
We will notify you when account balances fall below or rise above a specified dollar amount. You may also schedule personal reminders, such as birthdays, anniversaries, doctor appointments, etc. The notification will be sent to your personal e-mail address – you do not need to access your Online Banking Account to receive the message.

  • Processor speed: 486 or better
  • RAM: 32 MB or better
  • SSL-enabled browser. Browsers that qualify are Netscape 4.7 or higher, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher, AOL 6.0 for Windows 98
  • An Internet connection with a 28.8 kbps dial up connection or higher
